Give ’em a wide berth

In case you didn’t see it several riders were attacked by a bull at the Rock Cobbler event near Bakersfield.   If you ride in one of our local areas that are grazed be aware of the hazard.   

Cows, bulls, steer, and calves can all charge even though it’s not typically seen.   So give them doggies a wide berth and if they don’t yield YOU be prepared to take a different route.   

For what it’s worth EBPRD does work with their grazers to deal with aggressive cattle.   Even with that cattle behavior can be unpredictable.   If you do encounter aggressive cattle contact the park supervisor as listed on the local park map.  Choose wisely . . .
