| Marin Water has launched a survey seeking input from residents, ratepayers, and visitors to the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed – the source of nearly three-quarters of central and southern Marin’s water. Protecting water quality, maintaining biodiversity and ensuring a reliable water supply for ratepayers is a key goal for the District. But we also know that the Mt. Tam Watershed is a destination for recreators, drawing one million visitors each year who hike, bike, picnic, and more, right in our own beautiful backyard. |

Sample comment:
I’d like to see a better distribution of trail access for people on bikes. Conflict can be reduced through separation of use, which can be achieved through time allocation (bikes on even days, no bikes on odd days), directional trails and physical separation on parallel trails. Through collaboration we can coexist and protect the watershed for future generations.
