Ride Report: Ride Like a Girl at Crockett Hills

Ride Like a Girl was magical last weekend as 20 amazing women joined me at Crockett Hills for hero dirt, deep greens and much grinning. Thanks to everyone who came out.

And MASSIVE thanks to Scott Bartlebaugh, David Sturgis and all the rest of the BTCEB Trail Angels that keep Crockett’s signature flowing singletrack (and those character-building fire road climbs) in such wonderful shape – even during cow season!

The excellent trail conditions are the result of long-term collaboration between BTCEB and the Parks District. Thoughtful cattle management is a big part of it. The hundreds of volunteers who pour their time, muscles and hearts into the trail we love do the rest.

The next edition will be on January 21 at a yet-to-be-decided location. Visit our Meetup group to sign up and get notifications. We always ride on the third Saturday of the month, so now you have 12 things to do in 2023!
