After an 18-month unbroken run, Ride Like a Girl had to skip January out of respect for the sodden trails. But it was worth the wait. Two dozen women were treated to lovely weather and the Pacifica trails were in remarkably good condition. The local trail angels had been out clearing drains and repairing berms. A massive thanks from all of us for the hard work.
Did I mention Pacifica has one major hazard? The views are so stellar that it can he hard to concentrate on the job at hand! It’s a really, really good idea not to look at the view without stopping. Naturally this esteemed group all followed that advice.
And then we gathered for a tasty beverage at the Humble Sea Brewing Company. I do like rides that end this way.
