Ride Report: Ride Like a Girl at Camp Tamarancho

We had to wait a month, but Ride Like a Girl finally got to visit Camp Tamarancho in the Marin hills above Fairfax. It was worth the wait: we were treated to sunny skies, wildflowers everywhere, and near-perfect trail conditions.

For those who haven’t ridden at Tamarancho (and why not?). it’s a remarkably varied place. There’s always something going on: root steps, a rock garden, tricky switchbacks, a couple of drops, fast narrow bits and even Endor, a flow trail consisting almost entirely of bermed corners that has everyone smiling. Nearly all of us hit Endor once; several multiple laps!

Judging by the smiles and happy chatter afterwards, everyone had a good time.

The next edition will be on May 20. Visit our Meetup group to sign up and get notifications. We always ride on the third Saturday of the month, so may I suggest you block your calendars?
