Wildcat Flow Trail Public Meeting
San Pablo Community Center: January 27, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The East Bay Regional Park District continues work on the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Wildcat Flow Trail. You have an opportunity to show support and participate in the planning process at a public meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The scoping meeting is intended to collect public comment regarding the scope of the EIR study. A solid scope reduces the likelihood that the EIR can be successfully challenged based on an incomplete scope. So, let everybody you know that has an interest in the project know about the meeting whether they support it or oppose it. It is important to have points of opposition addressed in the CEQA/EIR process. The staff presentation may provide some accurate information to better inform the public and counter some of the biased reporting that the project has been getting.
Below is the notice sent out to the EBRPD project update distribution:
A Notice of Preparation will be released on Thursday, January 15, 2026, for the Wildcat Bike Trail Project. The 30-day scoping period will end on February 14, 2026. We will hold an in-person scoping meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the Community Hall at the City of San Pablo’s Community Center (2450 Road 20, San Pablo). The meeting will include a presentation which will provide a brief description of the project, history and an overview of the input we are seeking, CEQA process and timeline. Comments will be collected by comment card and verbally at this meeting with multiple staff involved to take notes and save comments.
You can get more information on the project at the EBRPD Project Website and also subscribe to updates. If you can’t make the meeting and have a scope or NOP comment you can submit that by email to park staff. You can also sign the petition supporting the project here.
